After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from California State University, Fresno, Dr. Bedolla went on to the prestigious University of California, San Francisco, where he obtained the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. After dental school, he continued his education by completing a year-long residency in general dentistry at the University Medical Center and the Veteran’s Hospital in Fresno, California. While in that residency, Dr. Bedolla received advanced training in all phases of dentistry to further his knowledge and clinical skills.
In his quest to become the best dentist he can be, Dr. Bedolla completed a 3-year course and became a graduate of the United States Dental Institute, which is a comprehensive orthodontic post-graduate program. Further, he has received advanced education on Orthodontics, sleep apnea, sleep disorders, and Temporomandibular disorders. He is also an active member of the Spear Education faculty club, which is an international club dedicated to excellence in restorative dentistry, dental occlusion disorders and full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Bedolla also trained with Dr. Dave Singh, a prolific researcher and educator on orthodontics and an expert on craniofacial development.
On a personal note, Dr. Bedolla was born and raised in Michoacán, Mexico and has been in California since 1990. He lives in Watsonville with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, caring for his fruit tree orchard, walking his dog, reading, playing the guitar, or watching sports such as basketball, football and baseball. He is an avid fan of the San Francisco 49rs, Giants, Golden State Warriors, and of course, the Fresno State Bulldogs.
Dr. Bedolla is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Monterey Bay Dental Society, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Hispanic Dental Association, and the Spear Faculty Club.
