Following news that the IRS has extended to May 17 the deadline for individuals to file their 2020 tax returns and make payment on tax due, New Jersey has followed suit by extending the state's tax filing deadline for individuals to the same date. The one-month reprieve, however, does not extend the April 15 deadlines for payment of estimated 2021 taxes at either the federal or state level.
