GPI is providing MEP/FP Engineering Services for a new intermediate school to be constructed near the existing Alfred S. Faust School in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The new school will be approximately 40,500 sf and will be connected to the exiting school via an enclosed bridge. Di Cara | Rubino Architects is the Project Architect and provided the renderings.
GPI is excited to be a part of the Valley View Bridge project with Tom Hyland leading a staff of 5 project engineers and inspectors working in conjunction with ODOT’s project engineers.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, NY -- The Dove Creek Animal hospital on NY Route 30 North in the Town of Amsterdam is a partner veterinary hospital with Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital in Gloversville. Dr. Will and staff provide a full spectrum of small animal, general medicine, surgical services and urgent veterinary services.

We thank our dedicated team who recently completed design and submitted final construction documents for the Pulaski Skyway Rehabilitation project – Contract 8B. The team worked in-office and remotely throughout the pandemic to overcome adversity and deliver engineering documents for this massive project on schedule. This 1932 video of the Skyway’s construction assisted with GPI’s analysis of as-constructed load paths of the structure which was critical to structural modeling and load rating calculations for rehabilitation design. #ManyTalentsOneFirm
Yesterday, the official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony took place for the Zim Smith Trail extension from Coons Crossing Road to the City of Mechanicville in Saratoga County, NY. GPI provided professional design services for the 2.5-mile extension of Zim Smith Mid-County Trail, which now connects to the Champlain Canalway Trail. This new segment included new trail facilities and amenities that provide more opportunities for users of all abilities from around the region to safely enjoy the outdoors.

GPI’s Dwayne Schlosser shared a photo of his daughter’s recent wedding ceremony in the Wenzel Tree House at Nay Aug Park in Scranton. GPI also recently provided a structural survey of the old treehouse’s structural systems, followed by the design of new structural beams, columns, and a foundation to replace the dying trees.
