My wife of 22 years and I, have raised three wonderful daughters in the peaceful pines of Cambria, California. The scenic beauty of this area, along with the laid-back, comfortable lifestyle it offers, have kept my family and I here for over 20 years.
Before I came to rest in the rolling hills of California's central coast, I lived in a much busier place. I was born and raised in Pasadena, California. After graduating from Occidental College in 1975, I played, and then taught tennis professionally. Playing tournament tennis gave me an invaluable education in that it allowed me to travel to many parts of the world. However, as I matured, I desired a less hectic lifestyle. So, in 1984 I moved to S.L.O. county. As the county's name implies; my pace has mellowed like the fine wine brewed from this area's famous vineyards.
After relocating to the central coast, I became a licensed painting contractor. I have continued to operate Gregg Whitfield Painting for 18 years. My commitment to customer and/or contractor satisfaction has generated many successful working relations with other tradesmen specific to home building. My eye for detail in home display such as; highlighting design, color accent, and faux finish applications allow me to enhance the beauty of a home. These talents, coupled with a data base of solid professionals in the housing industry, give me a unique qualification in the real estate market.
I first became interested in real estate as an investor. Under the direction of Alan Savage of Cambria Realty and Manor Realty, I began my education of the principles of investing in "emerging markets". I understand the business of buying and selling property from a unique perspective. I have found a niche for myself in the real estate business. I can provide you with an array of services that w
