Following LASIK eye surgery, there are a couple of things to keep in mind to ensure optimal healing. We recommend taking a rest day from work the day after the surgery. Be sure to also refrain from strenuous exercise for a week following the surgery! Taking it easy will provide the most efficient healing process.

"The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal."

Kicking off Black History Month by recognizing "Mary Mahoney who graduated from Boston-based New England Hospital for Women and Children's training school for nurses in 1879 and became one of the first black members of the American Nurses Association. In addition to her pioneering efforts in nursing, Ms. Mahoney is recognized for her role in the women's suffrage movement. She was among the first women to register to vote in Boston after the ratification of the 19th Amendment on Aug. 26, 1920" --Beckers Hospital Review
