As a reminder we will be closed tomorrow for the 4th of July!
Carol W. We have a typical 1950's brick ranch style home. It had the original windows which did nothing to stop heat & cold from seeping through the glass & frames. The new windows were installed in May. We have had a very early spree of 90+ weather. The house has stayed 10 degrees cooler than usual. I can't wait to the difference the windows make this winter!! Thank you Gross-Rhodes. We are thrilled!
If you're in the market for a window that will block heat from entering your south facing rooms during the summer months, look for products with low solar heat gain coefficient ratings (SHGC).
If you want to give your home a more natural look, consider wood siding, which creates a natural warmth. Here you have a variety of options in terms of wood species and type of siding (for instance, shingles or bevel).
Do you live near a busy street or regularly hear outside noise from inside your house? If so, you should look into replacing your windows! Most sound from the outside comes in from the windows. Replacing the windows will make it feel like a completely new, quiet house!
If you’re ready to start looking for a new home to move to, it’s a good idea to also begin the process of improving your existing home’s curb appeal. When your siding isn’t in good condition, replacing it can make a vast improvement in your home’s appearance.
