Our president Jay Gunter Besheer has worked at Gunter since he graduated from @mizzou. Or, if you want to get specific, since he was eight years old and used to ride around with his grandpa for Gunter pest control jobs starting in 1963. He’s been in our industry longer than anyone in this city 🐜 🕷, and if you talk to him he’ll tell you he never wanted to do anything else after college other than one day to run his grandpa’s pest business!

Meet John - our staff ACE (Associate Certified Entomologist), aka a somalier of bugs. An entomologist is person who is an expert in the branch of zoology concerned with insects. To become an entomologist, John had to meet many requirements including: over 10 years of industry experience, passing a rigorous exam through the Entomological Society of America, and more! John is a graduate of Purdue University's entomology course and has been a certified entomologist since 2013. That year, John was also promoted within our team to Sales Manager. John celebrated his 20th anniversary with Gunter last year! He’s highly requested among our customers and highly respected by our team. Thank you, John, for all you bring to Gunter!
Meet our office dog, Remy. She loves to greet us at the door, sleep (a lot) and generally just be lazy! Her spurts of energy keep us moving, though!
