Gus Armenakis, MD, is an attentive, board-certified primary care physician who strives to provide continuity of care, whether he’s serving patients in his private practice in Tamarac, Florida, or in a hospital setting. His goals are to deliver customized health care, help his patients lead active, healthy lives, and to act as their advocate while navigating an increasingly complex and fragmented health care system.
Dr. Armenakis completed his Bachelor of Science in biology at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic. He served his internal medicine residency at Ochsner Medical Center, in Jefferson, Louisiana, where he was recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty for his patients. Dr. Armenakis completed his residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. He is fluent in Spanish and Greek and has basic communication skills in French and Creole.
