In remembrance of 9/11, our Partners honored first responders across Texas for their ongoing dedication and unwavering service as part of our Helping Heroes program. Launched in 2005, Helping Heroes is a companywide initiative where our Partners from across Texas give back to first responders, pitching in at their neighborhood fire stations. This year, we adopted more than 750 fire stations statewide. This year, to protect the health and safety of the Partners and first responders, H-E-B provided adopted fire stations each with an H-E-B gift card and delivered snacks and more than 7,500 chef-inspired H-E-B Meal Simple meals for emergency personnel to enjoy. We also provided Partners throughout the company with H-E-B branded Helping Heroes masks so they can show their support for fire fighters, law enforcement, EMS and other civil servants serving on the front lines. An update for our communities: while the severe weather briefly interrupted the food supply chain, our stores remain open and H-E-B trucks are back on the road! We have more than 1,500 H-E-B trailers going out today to restock our stores as quickly as possible. Hear more from our President, Craig Boyan, as he shares what Texans can expect from H-E-B in the days to come, and the result of the hard work our Partners have been doing around the clock every day to get our state restocked. We are in strong supply of food, which you will soon see on the shelf. We have placed temporary limits on some products to help ensure access to the items our customers need - find the full list and more updates at newsroom.heb.com
Update 2/19: As the winter conditions continue, many of our stores have updated hours today, 2/19, with many stores now able to be open for longer hours. Some stores may be closed today due to the extreme weather. Please check heb.com/newsroom for the most updated information on hours as well as actions H-E-B is taking during this time to help our fellow Texans.
Due to severe winter weather, some H-E-B stores will have temporarily reduced hours of operation. Real-time updates to store hours and operations can be found in our Newsroom (newsroom.heb.com). We continue to closely monitor the situation and will resume regular hours as soon as possible. Over the next few days, customers also may see limited time slots available for Curbside and Home Delivery orders. We will do our best to fulfill all orders currently submitted and will contact customers if orders are impacted. We are working around the clock to get product to our stores and replenish product throughout the day.
