Today we were completely bless with such amazing youths at our store! Even throughout the storm , through the hard winds and rain, yet they kept pushing forward and became “light”on a dark day. They aren’t just volunteers, they our now part of the habitat for humanity family! HABITAT IS PARTNERING WITH OTHER NONPROFITS AROUND FORSYTH COUNTY TO MAKE THE COMMUNITY BETTER!
Sometimes it takes a village! Beauforn donated furniture to greeNest that included some table tops that needed legs. Volunteers at Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth made the legs for these table tops at the Habitat workshop. Now they're ready for a family to use and enjoy!
We also partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank during Christmas and collected this extra large shopping cart full of food. #community #volunteers #habitatforhumanityofforsyth #greenestwinstonsalem

"I have been in restaurant and retail management for over ten years. I have been with the Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth Restores since July 2020. As ReStore manager, my vision for the Kernersville Restore is to provide an excellent customer experience, affordable, gently pre-owned merchandise, a safe work environment for employees and volunteers, and help Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth provide affordable homeownership in safe communities."
