Habitat Roche’s services include space planning, renovation, furnishings, lighting, art and accessories.
Laura Roach has been working in the field of interior design for over 20 years. After receiving a degree in Interior Design from the University of Houston, Laura spent several years under the tutelage of a few noted residential designers. Laura’s desire to broaden her experience led her to work for both Gensler Architects and Irvine Architects.
There she honed her skills in space planning, interior architecture, detailing and documentation. For nearly a decade, Laura worked in corporate design on projects ranging from full facility to specialty meeting rooms. Notable projects included the private donor room at the Houston Grand Opera office, Benz Energy, Denali, El Paso Energy’s Trading Facility and Schlumberger’s I-Center.
Following a 2 year stint as a commercial furniture rep, Laura returned to design as a Senior Designer for Kathy Andrews Interiors. Designing for the Multi-family division, brought all of Laura’s previous experiences full circle. Laura’s projects at KAI included The Belle Meade, Venue Houston, Alexan Grand Mission, Acoma Denver, and Canyons at Saddlebrook, Denver. In 2008, Laura formed Habitat Roche.
Since founding Habitat Roche, Laura has worked on many residential projects and renovations both in and out of state. While enjoying working on all types of projects she holds a particular fondness for small spaces.
