Check out the article written on our company in the October 2020 issue of Germantown Richfield Neighbors Magazine.
Thank you to our plumbers for working some crazy hours yesterday in response to all the rain. We replaced quite a few sump pumps yesterday evening, and even more throughout the day today. We received a shout out on the radio this morning for one of the calls we went to last night. Thanks KB for the shout out.

As our company responds to COVID-19, the health and safety of our employees and customers remain our top priority.
We understand that many of you are working and/or learning from home. A houseful of people can put more strain on your plumbing system. Our company has been deemed essential, and our plumbers are ready to get your plumbing system back to working order as soon as possible.
Flushable wipes, despite the name, are NOT flushable. Paper towel, napkins, and baby wipes are also on the do not flush list. They may flush down the toilet just fine, but eventually, they're going to get hung up in the sewer, and then everything starts backing up.
If your toilet does plug, and starts to overflow, look for the supply line connected to the bottom side of the bowl. The line should lead to a valve. Turn the valve off to stop the water flow. If your sewer starts to back up, stop using water as much as possible, until a plumber can come out to snake the drain.
If you find yourself in need of drain or sewer services, give us a call, we're happy to help. (262) 251-4151

Do you have a power vented water heater? With all the snow we received yesterday, it's a good idea to check the water heater vent piping on the side of the house. Clearing away any snow build up around the pipes now can prevent future venting issues.
Ten years ago today, we officially opened for business. Just Erik in the field, and Holly in the office. Since then, we've added four great guys to our team; Tony, Ray, Peder, and our son, Shawn. Our daughter, Alyssa, helps in the office when she's home from college. Thank you to our amazing employees and our wonderful customers for getting us to where we are today. We hope to continue earning your business for many years to come.
It's that time of year again. Frozen pipe time. Here are a few pointers that can help to prevent your pipes from freezing.
(1) Make sure all hoses are disconnected from outdoor hose bibs, water is shut off to hose bibs, and faucets have been drained.
(2) Keep garage doors closed, and interior doors opened.
(3) If you have plumbing running along an exterior wall, open cabinets where possible to allow heat to get to pipes (remember to remove anything that kids and pets shouldn't have access to).
(4) Let the cold water drip from a faucet served by the exposed pipes to keep the water moving.
(5) Set your thermostat to at least 55 degrees when you are not home.
(6) Insulate problem pipes, and seal up cracks and holes.
It's always a good idea to know where your shut off valve is located in your home, and to know how to shut it off, in case of emergency. If you do find yourself with a frozen pipe, give us a call at (262) 251-4151. We're happy to help.
