When Bruce Hager started his body shop in 1996, life in Beech Island was a bit different. For the previous 8 years, Elmer had been working at the Hugh's Body Shop as a body seam sealer, learning a trade that he recognized was as much an art as it was a craft.
Hager's saw considerable growth even through the recent recession. Bruce's son Daniel served as man in charge over these years.
In 2004 they added new building that provided body paint and frame repair.
In 2006 Hager's Muffler and Body Shop again expanded to incorporate brake and alignment services.
Under Daniel's leadership, Hager Muffler and Body Shop has been able to satisfy customers and their evolving tastes. While Hager's experienced growth, it was a growth that could only be experienced through a second generation ownership. Like Bruce, Daniel carved out his niche in his own way.
Coming into the new millennium Daniel learned the trade much the way his father had, learning from his father and through hard work and determination to do what is best for the customer. Nearly 10 years has passed since Daniel took over the leadership of the family business that Bruce Hager started more than 30 years ago.
Hager Muffler and Body Shop has existed at this location for 20 years, continuing to satisfy to the publics' need for high quality repairs in a timely efficient manner, and always seeking to achieve the invisible repair.
