Houston's best-kept early childhood school secret: Montessori, Multi-Lingual Early Literacy, Latin & Classical Studies, Singapore Mathematics and Fine Arts. A surprisingly affordable, world class start to life in a peaceful, learning-friendly atmosphere. My first three children attended here and if I still lived in Houston, Han would be having a blast here too.
If you're considering a school change or pondering the best possible educational beginning for your new little Prince or Princess, a tour of this school is a must. - Tom

"Move everything to the cloud!" they said. "It has its own redundancy! It never goes down!" Tick, tick, boom: except when it does. And oh yeah, then you need some redundancy outside of that cloud. In a different cloud ...
Dynamis has been giving clients straight answers about "the cloud" and other new technologies for over 25 years. We like the cloud. We provide some cloud services, and we use others.
What we don't do - and have never done - is sell "the cloud" as a fix-all good-for-everyone solution - because as it turns out, in computing, the honest version of the word "cloud" is an adjective, not a noun.
In a nutshell, this exploit is so bad that if anyone (even a guest) using your network clicks the wrong link it can cause your DNS server to look up the "wrong" domain and the hackers can cause a buffer overrun on your DNS server and (if they exploit the exploit effectively) be inside your server immediately. And worst of all, the flaw has existed for 17+ plus years and was just published.
*** URGENT UPDATE *** -- Microsoft's current published registry entry to resolve this issue is NOT effective for older versions of Windows server. Several trailing 0's are needed to create the correct REG_DWORD entry. Instead of 0xFF00 use 0000FF00. If you use Microsoft's published 0xFF00 entry some versions of Windows registry will change this to 0041ff00 which is WAY too high and completely allows the buffer overrun exploit to occur. The target decimal value is 65280.

Ouch, this is a bad one.

If you work for a company that sometimes puts people on hold or has them wait in a queue for the next representative, do you know what you're having them listen to? It's probably this - the same hold music that reminds them of too many infuriating waits on hold at other companies. Did you know you have a choice? You can treat them to something much better. It's actually super easy to upload whatever hold music you want to your phone system. Your customers might not thank you, but they'll be a less likely to confuse their experience with you with some really awful experiences they had elsewhere. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-SIManm_Qo
