Dr. Halperin’s inspiration to pursue chiropractic healing goes back to his childhood. As a child he was sickly, depressed, suffered from viruses, colds, ear infections and had a laundry list of allergies. His bones and joints ached and he missed school due to incessant headaches and migraines and was told he had a “failure to thrive” condition due to hormone imbalances and a “sensitive digestive system.” Finally, he met a psychiatrist who specialized in nutritional imbalance and depression. Dr. Halperin said, “He questioned me for two hours and then told me, ‘This is simple. Stop drinking milk and stop eating wheat for at least six weeks.’” He gave a young Dr. Halperin his first whole food supplements and assured him that he didn’t need a psychiatrist. Within six weeks he was cured. He grew six inches the following year and has never had another migraine.
Dr. Halperin has used that experience in diagnosing and assisting many families through similar experiences. Outside of his practice he teaches monthly nutrition and health classes in his community.
Dr. Halperin believes strongly in the healing power of chiropractic adjustments and with 10 years of training, seminars and helping countless patients, he knows a variety of techniques to help patients enter into the “process” of healing, allowing for their physical, nutritional, emotional and spiritual healing. He is as passionate today as he has ever been to offer service to his patients.
