October is National Dental Hygiene Month. We'd like to use this month as an opportunity to remind our patients about good oral hygiene practices.
(*) Brush your teeth for two minutes, two times per day. Brushing is the most important method of removing food debris and plaque and preventing cavities, gingivitis and periodontal (gum) disease.
(*) Floss at least once per day. Floss enables you to remove food debris and plaque from between your teeth and beneath your gumline that your toothbrush isn't able to reach.
