Hamsa Ramkumar, MD, FAAP provides a wide range of pediatric services for children in La Habra, California. She’s been caring for children in the southern California area from infancy to adolescence since 1985. Dr. Ramkumar is devoted to offering all of her patients quality care, whether they’re having a well-child checkup or a sick visit. Parents in the La Habra area can bring their children in for their annual physicals, sports physicals, child development concerns, allergy testing, ear infections, and several other pediatric services.
After earning her pediatric degree at Patna Medical College in India in 1982, Dr. Ramkumar completed a residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with UCLA in 1988. She opened her private practice in 1990 to offer pediatric services to children in La Habra, Whittier, Brea, Fullerton, and the surrounding areas. As a board-certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she remains dedicated to providing children with exceptional care.
When Dr. Ramkumar isn’t busy caring for her young patients, she spends quality time with her husband and two children. As a mother and a pediatrician, she ensures that her patients are treated with kindness and compassion so they can feel comfortable and at ease at her office.
