We are excited to introduce you to our new practice manager! ❤️ Trisha came to us from the Hampton area, but moved to the Roanoke Valley in 2004 with her husband, Jason, and her three sons, Shane, Chase & Seth. Trisha is excited to help the already Green Conscientious Hanging Rock Animal hospital to continue to move in the direction of helping the environment by implementing a paper free system. Her goals for our hospital include attracting the best staff, maintaining a family atmosphere and to continue to provide the highest level of quality care for the animals of the Roanoke Valley. Trisha has spent the last 14 years in animal welfare and is extremely grateful for the lives she bettered along the way and all of the people she has met. When not at work, she enjoys reading, hanging out with her family and pets (4 dogs: Bear, Gia, Sophie & Max and 3 birds: Tony, Squawk & Indy), and watching sports with her boys, or watching her boys play sports! Trish, who you will find empathetic and well organized, is excited for the vision she has for Hanging Rock Animal Hospital!

Please help the Roanoke County Police Department welcome our newest canine officer. He is a 15 week old Belgian Malinios. He was purchased through gracious donations from Steel Dynamics Long Products Group Roanoke Bar Division, OmniSource Virginia, Roanoke Bar Association, and New Millennium Building Systems in Salem.
We need help naming this new puppy officer and are asking for your ideas and support to give this puppy his forever name. Submissions will be accepted from now through Sunday November 22 so he can begin to learn his name and a few manners.
His training regime will be approximately one year and we will update his progress routinely so everyone can watch him grow and become a valuable member of our department.

This is the beautiful MeMe! The Chow Chow is a very old breed originally developed in China! It is believed that the name is a sort of mangled English term meaning "knick-knacks," dating back to the 1700s!
