Thanksgiving November News! - *|www.happybunnies.com/blog|*
For November we will dive into themes such as family and harvest, learning about the weather, and most importantly showing acts of kindness (which we always, always encourage in our classroom) This month we want to buckle down on showing how nice we can be to our friends with ways such as soft hugs, sharing and knowing that when we hurt our friends it makes us sad. We will be also doing fun activities that include thanksgiving themes.

Hi, my name is Kate, and I work at Happy Bunnies. We're open 52 weeks a year, that's every week. And we're open to families who have working parents, as well as families who just want their kids to come here and socialize. And this is really the perfect place to do it.

Hi, everybody, my name is Magdalena.
I am the owner and director of Happy Bunnies.
I would like to show you around and show you this amazing school and also our outside space.
It is so peaceful out here.
We have these amazing, huge trees that I believe were planted by the original owners.
They provide a lot of shade during the summer times.
We have three very large playscapes that our children absolutely adore.
We come out every morning, every afternoon, and also in times when the weather is 70, 80 degrees outside, we might spend the entire day outside.
We will bring our activities out.
We will have our storytime, our circle time outside.
And you can see our children have cars and bikes and they can ride around our outside space.
To make Christmas magical, home-made art is the perfect way to make unique Christmas decorations with a toddler. It'll be magical.

Hi, my name is Anita,
I am a preschool teacher at Happy Bunnies, but I am also a parent. My baby girl also attends Happy Bunnies, so I have a very unique perspective both as a teacher and as a parent.
We, as teachers, are not only here to teach your babies but also support you in your parenting. We are always here to listen and to share our experiences with you both as parents as well as teachers. We get it, parenting is not easy, and it is so much nicer when we can talk it out.
Come and see us at Happy Bunnies; we can't wait to have a chat with you and show you how awesome this place is and how much it feels like family.

We hope you have a wonderful day!
Christmas week at Happy Bunnies Bunnies Child Care School. Anita recorded this festive little message for you on Friday!
Hi, This is Anita from Happy Bunnies Child Care School in Oak Hill. What a wonderful day we have today!
Christmas is almost here and we are all buzzing with excitement, we have been playing with snow, reading snow stories, and making snowy art and craft.
It will all come to a big finale next week on Wednesday when we will celebrate Winter and Christmas at our Christmas Party. I am told, that we will have some surprises ready for our little friends, Pre-K will be creating their own snowballs, infants and toddlers will be decorating their own Christmas Cookies!
We can't wait!
If you have the power to make someone happy, do it. The world needs more of that
Happy New Year to you all from HAPPY BUNNIES!
Wishing you a magic 2021.

Happy New Year, everyone! Kate has our first short update of the year for you. This one is on security:
Hi, My name is Kate
I would like to talk to you about how safe your children are at our school.
Alongside daily safety checks and extensive risk assessments, only you can decide who picks your baby up from our school.
Our doors are locked at all times, all visitors must sign in, and if someone comes to pick up your baby, even if they are on an authorized list, we will call you to confirm.
All staff must undergo an enhanced background check and hold an up to date First Aid and CPR certification.
Our premises are monitored by security cameras 24/7.

Hi, I am Ms. Taylor from Happy Bunnies Older Infant Room.
This week could not have been planned better; even the weather cooperated beautifully.
We are exploring ice and snow, and we were able to do that outside too! How very exciting.
Our icy and snowy sensory tray offers our babies a cool opportunity to play with snow animals like penguins and polar bears.
Our art and craft will also be centered around ice and snow. We will be observing melting snow and exploring a little bit of science behind different forms of matter.

Today, I would like to pause for a second, step away from marketing videos, and express my gratitude towards my teachers at Happy Bunnies. Here's a message for our teachers and all other Early Childhood teachers who turn up for work every day when others stay home.
They do this because they understand how important our profession is. They educate your children from birth.
They look after your children every day. They change diapers, wipe noses, and clean them after they got messy playing or eating.
They do this every day without question to let parents go to work and give their children the personal interactions crucial to their development.
Thank you, teachers, at Happy Bunnies and in the whole world, for choosing children and their families!

Hi, My name is Magdalena, and I am the owner and director of Happy Bunnies.
Happy Bunnies is a special place where small children come to have fun, play, and learn.
We cater to working parents and parents who want their children to socialize and learn in a safe and loving environment.
We are a small, family-owned school with a small team of dedicated and loving teachers. Most of us are moms, too.
Older Infants (13m - 20m):
Hi parents,
We are so excited to have you back! This week will be our start to Valentine's day theme, and it will end on February 14th.
We will be doing lots of artwork involving hearts and red color; we will be learning about our feelings and how to be kind to each other.
We will also have a puppet show that will give us a nice finale to our Valentine's theme.
Baby Room:
Hi lovely parents,
Babies during Valentine's day theme will be learning some new signs from our sign language list of common signs to use with babies. We will be practicing the "thank you", "please" and "I love you" signs the most.
There will be some cool Valentine's day cards going home too that your babies will make for you.
Pre-School Room:
Hi Parents,
I am Ms. Tasha, and I am new to our preschool. Some of you may know me from our Toddler Room; for some, I am new. Please don't hesitate to ask me if you would like to say, "Hi."
The next two weeks are Valentine's weeks. During our first week in February, we will be practicing our good manners, reading stories about the importance of polite behavior.
The second week in February will be all about friendships and being inclusive while playing with our friends. We will finish Valentine's theme with a small party.
Toddlers Update:
This Valentine's week, we will be exploring our emotions. We will use pictures to show and name different emotions and imitate them by using emotion puppets.
We have some new children joining us this month in our room, so we will be getting to know each other and make some new friends.
Is this your kind of breakfast? Like me if you agree!

~ Toddlers Valentines ~
This week we will continue to talk about our emotions and being kind to our friends, along with our traditional Valentine's day crafts.
Our book of the week will be "Love you forever" by Robert Munch.
We introduced a new "love heart matching game" last week, and it was a big hit so that we will play some more this week too.
~ Valentine Babies ~
Hi Parents!
Love is in the air.
This week, our babies will be reading the "Love you for Ever" book by Robert Munch. We will be looking at the illustrations in the book and name the people we see. We will continue to practice our signs for "I love you," "thank you," and "Please."
We are currently working on our family display. The children will be practicing their words for Mom and Dad.
~ Valentine's Pre-School ~
This week, we continue to talk about friendships, the importance of being kind and caring.
We have many sensory projects planned for the week, so it should be lots of fun.
We will be working on our numbers, counting, and recognizing numerals 1-20.
~ Younger Toddlers - Valentine's ~
Our older babies continue to learn how to recognize their friends' feelings this week. We will be learning how to stay calm and kind even if it is very hard at times.
We will be reading books about family and love: Daddy Love and Snuggle Puppies, just to name a few.
Our art projects will involve lots of fun coloring, painting, and sticking. We will make Valentine's cards for our parents to say just how much we love them!

Our Pre-Schoolers will be traveling to space. This week, we are building a new spaceship. It's a great way to learn how to plan, problem-solve, and also how to build a project from start to finish. Cooperation between children will be the key to our success.
Toddlers will be transporting themselves too, we will be playing with cars and trains, and all our toddler art and craft will be themed with transportation and vehicles.
