In 2020, Harbin Clinic welcomed nine new physicians! We’re proud to expand our services and offer more care to Northwest Georgia. To learn more about them or to schedule an appointment, visit harbinclinic.com.
This past year has certainly been full of challenges. Yet as we pause and reflect, we’re reminded of the many happy moments that occurred at Harbin Clinic and in our community. Here are a few of our favorite memories:
⭐ Dr. Ben Warren from Harbin Clinic Women’s Center Cartersville welcomed the first Harbin baby of 2020.
⭐ Harbin Clinic Physical Therapy Cartersville & Immediate Care Cartersville celebrated their opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
⭐ Harbin Clinic Women’s Center Cartersville’s Kim Millsap CNM, WHNP and her husband won best dance and raised the most money for the 2020 Cartersville Dances With the Stars.
⭐ As COVID-19 cases were confirmed in our communities, we honored and thanked our #HarbinHeroes for caring completely for our patients.
⭐ A COVID-19 victory! Mr. Ted Thomas was one of the first to be discharged from Redmond Regional Medical Center after a long fight with COVID-19. Harbin Clinic Pulmonologist Dr. Jennifer Barbieri cared for Mr. Thomas during his hospitalization.
⭐ Harbin Clinic and The YMCA of Rome and Floyd County announced Team Up for Health, an initiative focused on improving the health and well-being of children and youth in the community.
⭐ The much-anticipated new Harbin Clinic Pediatrics building opened its doors in August! The building is home to Harbin Clinic Pediatrics Rome and Harbin Clinic Pediatrics Rome Davis Sabino.
⭐ Harbin Clinic worked to get the community involved in the Halloween-themed fundraiser, Get PUMP’d for Kids, which raised nearly $8,000 for three local non-profit organizations that focus on providing resources for foster care youth and families.
⭐ Even though we weren’t able to all be together, Harbin Clinic wanted to thank our employees for everything they’ve done during this difficult year. From mini pop-up outdoor celebrations to bringing coffee with our friends at Java Joy, our healthcare workers have gone above and beyond to care for our patients. Thank you!
⭐ Our frontline providers began receiving their first round of the COVID-19 vaccine. We’re proud that they are choosing to look towards 2021 with hope and certainty.
From all of us at Harbin Clinic, we wish everyone a healthy and happy New Year! We can’t wait to care for you in 2021!
Dr. Rita Mezzatesta is here to back you up. As a Spine & Pain Management physician, she shares useful tips to help individuals manage chronic pain in this Rome News-Tribune Ask a Doc column. Read the article: http://bit.ly/HarbinChronicPain
