It's always fun making someone else's spackle mess look good..homeowner had a new slider installed, but contractor didnt tape his butt joint in drywall so it was cracking, and boy did he use way to much mud.. in the end it was like glass ;).
The crown molding was also destroyed with brown wall paint...No worries, we took care of it and straightened that line right out!

Totally forgot to take pic of kitchen before we took doors down..oops 😬. We also filled all holes from old hardware, re-drilled new holes for new hardware..what did we do before jigs...
The bedrooms were pretty cut and dry. Did some nice blow out patches, you'd never know there were holes there 😉.

Customer had their floors refinished and consequently their shoe molding and other areas on trim got hit with stain so we were brought in to clean and brighten it up!! Its singin now... 🎶
Unfortunately in having the floors sanded the shoe molding also got hit and changed the profile where it meets the floor, so i was unable to cut a visually straight line in those areas as you will see.
In addition we took care of the kitchen and living area with fire place mantel. Another wooden mantel goes from dark to light!!

One of our bigger projects we've taken on. Two decks with lots of repair, in addition the customer wanted the old lattice removed and new boards installed.
We did not stain the new wood as it need to dry out, so we'll be back in the spring to finish coating it out. Customer was more than happy with how the new boards looked that filled in the lattice area!!
We also re-stained the entire outside, and Boy was that wood thirsty!!! Myself and 4 others spent an entire day sanding the whole thing :) . Needless to say it paid dividends!! The difference in feel was like night and day and the customer could actually run her hands up and down without worry of splinters...
Thankfully the weather couldn't have been better and everyone was happy in the end!!

Do you have a small room that you want to make look larger? Try choosing a light-color paint, and select furnishings in the same color family. Or, you could paint some of the furniture to match the walls.
Small Hall and Bedroom repaint. Only a slight change in color on the walls, but Customer felt the wood was outdated and needed a fresh look. The lighting could have been better in the after photos. However, customer was very happy with the finished look 🙂

A white ceiling adds extra lift to a room and emphasizes the wall colors. Make sure to pick the right white – cool white and warm white look very different.
Air and siding surface temperatures play a role in how well paint adheres when it is applied. For alkyd paints, the temperatures should be above forty degrees; latex paints need temperatures above fifty. These temperatures should be forecast to hold for at least 24 hours after painting.
From dark to light, we lit this room up. Had a lil dreary feel to it, but once that green got cover with "vanilla milkshake" it was full of life!! Customer is selling their property and couldn't have been happier with the results.

Ruby Red room goes to London Fog!! They had high gloss stripes on the walls, so we used a mix of extreme oil blocking primer and fast dry oil primer tinted blue grey.
Using a mix of oils I've found it to be more workable than using fast dry alone, and it has better blocking properties as well, yet still dries fast enough to recoat in an hour :)
Customers couldn't believe how smooth and fresh the new walls were.

The wine area and island were Cracked Pepper (previously dark stain and going dark, so not a drastic change), and the main body was Barnwood Gray, both Behr colors
The lighting in the after pics was dim so not as bright as I would have preferred...o well
