The UMLD is an off-campus storage facility, established in 1997, for important, but infrequently used, library materials. UMLD is designed to provide high-density storage in an excellent climate controlled environment, maintained at a constant 55°F and at a relative humidity near 40%. This controlled environment ensures that valuable, yet fragile, paper materials will be available for generations to come.

We use CAD/CAM software on all of our projects to create both design and fabrication models. This allows us to draw and create models in both 2D and 3D formats. These drawings can easily be integrated with other software programs to help with coordination, design, clash detection as well as fabrication. This process saves valuable time and money by ensuring fast, trouble free fabrication and installation.

We wanted to give a "Shout Out" to The Builders Association/Kansas City Chapter, AGC for doing a feature article on a project we did last summer @ Emerson Climate Technologies in Lebanon, MO. We replaced six existing 35 Ton AHU’s with new high efficiency units, resulting in lower energy and maintenance costs over time. Due to the high square-foot area of the plant, a traditional mobile hydraulic crane was not able to reach the unit locations so we joined efforts with CHI Aviation to place the units with a helicopter. We were able to complete the installation with almost no setup time and get all six units set in a little over 15 minutes!
Be safe and have a good weekend!
