Dr. Walck will be out of the hospital from September 3rd into October for medical leave (non-COVID related). During this time, your pets will continue to receive excellent care from Dr. Jose and Dr. Milliken. Our fantastic staff will also be here and ready for you and your pets during this time. Dr. Walck looks forward to returning as soon as possible! On behalf of everyone at Harrisburg Area Animal Hospital, thank you for your support and understanding.

Small animal hospital looking for a full-time licensed veterinary technician. The right candidate with experience may be considered if not licensed. Duties include but not limited to patient handling and restraint, client communication and education. Technicians must be comfortable drawing blood and setting IV catheters. Duties also include anesthesia administration and monitoring, also surgical preparation and recovery. Radiology duties with digital radiology and digital dental radiology. Hourly wage based on experience. No after hours emergencies and limited Saturday hours.

11/1/20 STILL MISSING
URGENT!!!! Friends in the Landisville area, I need your help and prayers. My cat Mark is terrified of the cat carrier and vet and got away from the vet assistant about 15 minutes ago when I tried to take him inside. He is in the vicinity of Landisviile Animal Hospital, 3035 Harrisburg Pike. Please put out word to everyone you know in this area. He is a sweet boy but he is an indoor only cat and is terrified of being outside and will be hiding for awhile. He is a pretty big cat - probably 18+ lbs. I am so upset.
People have wondered why it has been difficult to get appointments for veterinary care. This is a well written explanation. Please remember that we are all trying to do our best. Every veterinary hospital has been experiencing this.
