Our consulting arborists are BUSY these days and it is disheartening! 99.9% of the problems we are seeing in St. Louis yards are caused by humans. BAD TREE WORK is the #1 problem. Tree pruning is permanent and cannot be undone. Lion-tailing, topping, stub cuts, flush cuts all cause irreparable damage and mature trees cannot recover from this harmful, damaging abuse. Lion-tailing or stripping all the center foliage and branches can be fatal to the tree. No amount of “thinning” a shade tree will get more light to the lawn. Stop paying unskilled, inexperienced, unprofessional tree companies to kill your trees! Proper tree pruning takes skill, education, and innate understanding of tree biology - it is not cheap. 🌳💚

that has been overtaken with trees. Our customer asked me about a young man on our crew. He knows his mother. So we had to grab a picture to share! It made his day!

A big shout-out to my crew today for coming in even though the weather was crappy. As a team we trimmed 75 trees and removed 2! A great start to the total of 175 trimmings and 17 removals. There were no complaints, even though we were all soaked well before noon! I have one heck of a team! And we are so appreciative of them.
