Dr. Harry Demos received his BS in computer science with an emphasis in bioengineering from Clemson University and his M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed an orthopaedic research fellowship at Boston City Hospital and his internship at Boston University before pursuing an orthopaedic trauma fellowship in Birmingham, Alabama. He then returned to the Medical University of South Carolina to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency. Dr. Demos completed his fellowship in adult reconstruction at the University of Western Ontario Medical Center in London, Ontario., Dr. Demos is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacement surgery. He joined the faculty in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2001 and currently represents the department in multiple areas throughout MUSC Health, including his appointments to the health information services committee and EMR advisory board. Dr. Demos also serves as the medical director of the MUSC inpatient adult orthopaedic wards, 2 East and 7 West.
