A DAWGGONE AMAZING DAY FOR CARES! Cathy and I had a delightful time yesterday in the beautiful home of Coach Vince Dooley and the effervescent Barbara Dooley. Through a series of somewhat hilarious events, they agreed to donate a mountain-top, buildable plot of land in Bent Tree to CARES. Here we are standing with them and the National Championship Coach’s Trophy, signed and notarized deed in hand.
It was absolutely a day we will never forget. So many many stories, there are too many to tell in this context. They treated us like family in a way that truly touched our hearts.
