Harvard Street Management is engaged in the business of property management, exclusively. Our portfolio includes a number of individual residential homes and condominiums, small commercial properties (professional offices), and approximately 500 residential rental apartments and residential condominium properties. President, CEO and Senior Property Manager Frank Pedro manages to keep track of his independently motivated personnel. The core staff has been with Harvard Street Management for more than five years. Of course, with recent growth, it has been necessary to add some depth to our staffing. Our staff includes five clerical support members and four field staffers: an Assistant Manager for Field Services (supervising the grounds, snow and cleaning contractors), a Maintenance Supervisor, a trash/groundskeeper and a contractor carpenter/mason. Our field people provide inspection, light grounds and physical maintenance services, as well as support services as required. All cleaning services are outsourced and supervised. There is never an excuse for a dirty building, because it is always easy to find a new company who is willing to do the work. We currently use four different cleaning contractors and about 12 professional, bonded, and insured contractors as needed. Our office responds live 24 hours each day for emergencies. Administrative matters are primarily handled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
