Those seeking an elegant evening out will feel right at home at new hotspot, Haus, located between Soho and Tribeca within the 100 year old Brunner Building, that once housed the legendary Canal Room. The space has been completely transformed by the acclaimed commercial interior design firm Rawlins Design. The multi-tiered venue offers something for everyone: a curated mixology program, an eclectic menu and the hottest music around.
Haus offers a comfortable, chic haven for those seeking a few outstanding cocktails and bit of fine fare. After midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, Haus morphs into a high-energy house music nightclub. Creative Director, Isaac Elbhar, will host an international lineup of top DJs, who will take over the booth on the main floor or 7 feet up in the gilded, mirrored sky booth.
The ambiance at Haus is warm and decadent. Guests enter through handcrafted hard wood doors at the corner of Canal and West Broadway into a beautifully appointed, decorated atrium featuring high ceilings and a comfortable leather banquet on which to recline. In the main room, rich metals like satin bronze, stain brass and copper create distinct furniture details, while rich peacock-blue velvet drapery hangs from Haus’ floor to ceiling windows. The most opulent addition is the golden tiger-eye bar-top, which features semi-precious stone inlaid-marquetry across the 34-foot long curvaceous bar.
The 3-tiered venue highlights exclusive candle-lit lounge areas and comfortable VIP seating, which offers the perfect vantage point to experience the music through a state-of-the-art sound system designed by D3Audio and an unmatched lighting system complete with a brilliant chandelier to reflect over 16 million shades of color. The results combine an amazing visual experience with the coolest sounds on the scene for a one-of-a-kind, not to be missed nightlife experience.
