Haverkamp Properties is an Iowa owned and operated business. Our CEO and owner, Brent Haverkamp, was born and raised in "small town" Iowa (Sibley to be specific) so consequently his roots run deep into the fertile soil of Iowa values. Since Haverkamp Properties' beginning in 1991 we have taken a tremendous amount of pride in our Iowa heritage and values. Although the story starts in Ames, Iowa it doesn't finish there. With housing communities located in Altoona, Ankeny, Cedar Rapids, Grimes, Nevada, Johnston, Pleasant Hill and Tiffin we serve over 5000 Iowans... which is greater than the population of the town most of us grew up in. In fact, 2 out of every 3 of our employees were born in Iowa and nearly 3 out of every 4 called Iowa "home" during their formative years of life, is a result of so many of us being born and raised here in the state, our nearly 75 employees have Iowa "DNA" running through them. But the advantages of being locally owned and operated doesn't just stop with our values, it means we are approachable and accessible. Our "corporate headquarters" aren't located in another time zone or another state, we are still here in Ames, Iowa. Why does all of this matter?
