It’s been a great CEW so far at the elementary school! This year’s theme is “Be.” Here’s what we’ve learned so far: We can notice Jesus when we are still; we are all loved by God; we are one when we care for one another; and we are more when Jesus blesses us. As part of the CEW fun, students have gotten to participate in fun dress up days, like crazy socks and hat day. They’ve also been gearing up for a big community service project by writing notes and creating artwork. Keep up the good work Eagles! #hbaeagles #soar4Him #cew2020 #christianemphasisweek

#Repost @ourdailybread with @get_repost ・・・ “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” —Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The wisdom of Dr. King lives on in our hearts. This year, as we celebrate his legacy, it’s fitting to acknowledge what we believe to be one of our biggest strengths—unity. For far too long, unity has come at the expense of one party over another. But we pray that in these challenging times we face as a nation we can come together, heal, and learn to hold one another up in the face of controversy. One way we hope to reconcile our future is by honoring what God has done in the past. #ourdailybread #martinlutherkingjr #mlkday #mlkday2021 #peace

This week would have been our Mainland Advisory Council (MAC) Week. Even though we can't be together in-person, we will still be celebrating with our MAC virtually today and tomorrow via Zoom. Our MAC friends come from across the United States. They support HBA's ministry through prayer and financial contributions. Here are some memories from MAC Week 2020. We pray we will be able to gather in-person one day soon. #hbaeagles #macweek2020
