Some behind-the-scenes photos from the beginning of the pandemic, when we created a video with The Ventilator Project
(https://theventilatorproject.org/), a non-profit building a rapid and scalable low-cost pandemic ventilator. It was a great experience, and we are truly grateful to have been given the opportunity to use our media skills for such an important cause. Visit ventilator.hawke.tv to watch the video.

We love working collaboratively with other media companies, even when COVID tries to make it difficult! Last weekend, we worked remotely with Sparkworks Media in Seattle to film a medical product tutorial on the proper technique for using video laryngoscopes. By live streaming 2 camera angles through Zoom, our client was able to direct the shoot remotely & safely. 😷🎬

A look behind the scenes at a live election simulation we filmed for Freethink back in August. The simulation was a virtual event organized by information security company Cybereason, composed of teams of professionals posing as hackers and law enforcement, with the goal of testing government responsiveness to election interference. To communicate with the producer remotely during this virtual event, we sent a dedicated livestream from the camera and discussed over the phone via headset. Back in July, we worked with The Jimmy Fund to livestream their Bingo Night fundraiser. Previously, they had been using Zoom to broadcast their fundraising events, but together we were able to create a more engaging live experience for a great cause. (And we got to work with one of the GOATs of ice cream, Jerry Greenfield from Ben & Jerry's! 🍦)

Flashback to this summer when we worked with Boston Latin School and Association to create a pre-recorded livestream graduation, as a physical ceremony was not possible due to COVID. We had a fantastic time working with the faculty and students of Boston Latin, and we hope the graduating seniors had an amazing virtual celebration! Stay tuned for the BLSA’s annual Celebration of Latin School Gala in December (virtual this year).
A behind-the-scenes look at our work with Likeable Media and Sorrentino Media filming a two-camera cooking show for Stop & Shop. The show was filmed at the home of the featured nutritionist, and we sent a live camera feed and communicated with the producers and directors via Zoom in order to maintain safe social distancing practices.
At the beginning of the pandemic, we filmed the volunteers and staff of The Salvation Army and their efforts to assist the hard-hit community of Chelsea, MA, along with civil servants and The National Guard. It was very rewarding to document such important work, and truly inspiring to see Massachusetts residents coming together to help others in need. Behind-the-scenes at our studio with Rick McKenna, demonstrating how to use his organizational mobile app, Manage My Things Mobile App. The mobile app helps homeowners easily inventory the important things in their homes, and generates custom, task-specific reports that can be sent directly to key contacts such as estate planning attorneys, insurance agents, a charity, or heirs. We are also using the app to log and inventory our equipment. You can check out the Manage My Things app here: www.things.hawke.tv

If you haven’t caught it yet, check out the documentary Trial 4 out on Netflix! It’s a fantastic doc about fighting systemic racism and corruption in Boston.
