Adnan Afzal, MD, FACC, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist practicing at Healing Hearts Clinic in Conroe in the Woodlands, Texas. Dr. Afzal studied for his medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. After moving to the United States he completed his internal medicine and cardiology training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.

Arindam Banerjee, MD, Is a board-certified interventional cardiologist at Healing Hearts Clinic in Conroe, The Woodlands, and Huntsville, Texas. Dr. Banerjee uses his extensive training to offer his patients compassionate and comprehensive cardiovascular care. He is happy to provide information and answer questions to ensure that his patients are well informed about their condition and the treatment options available to them.
Dr. Banerjee earned his bachelors degree at Texas A&M University, then completed his medical degree in internal medicine residency at Texas A&M College of Medicine/Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. He completed his Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, LA. Then he completed an additional year of training at Ochsner in advanced, complex coronary interventions, peripheral vascular interventions, and structural heart procedures, including TAVR. He is considered a leader in the field of peripheral artery interventions and routinely proctors doctors around the country on leading edge technologies in the field.
Dr. Banerjee has partnered with exceptional wound care specialist, podiatrist, and primary care physicians in the area to lead a Limb Salvage Program. Eliza Codd, his nurse practitioner, is a certified advanced lipid specialist and leads the Healing Hearts Lipid Clinic. Liza also assist in providing high-quality care for Dr. Banerjee‘s patients in the office and hospital settings.

Dr. Banerjee performs his procedures at all of the local affiliated hospitals and facilities. Hussein Yamani, MD, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist practicing at Healing Hearts Clinic in Conroe, The Woodlands, and Huntsville, Texas who strives to provide comprehensive and compassionate cardiovascular care for his patients. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts from the Plan ll Honors Program at the University of Texas, Austin, Dr. Yamani attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and completed his internship and residency in the internal medicine at the University of Texas Health science Center at Houston.
Dr. Yamani completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in the Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center in Houston, followed by an interventional fellowship at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City. He is a leading cardiologist with particular interest in the treatment of coronary and peripheral artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. He understands that each patient is unique and encourages them to be actively involved in their care.
Dr. Yamani is certified by the American Board of internal medicine in the subspecialty of cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He has training and experience and stress testing, echocardiography, vascular imaging, nuclear imaging, cardiac CT and MRI, and the treatment of venous disease (vein ablations) and loop recorder implants. He routinely performs coronary angiograms and interventions as well as peripheral angiograms. Dr. Yamani‘s professional appointments include serving as the chairman of the cardiology section at Conroe Regional Medical Center.

Rajesh Ramineni, MD, FACP, FACC, FSCAI is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist at Healing Hearts Clinic in Conroe and The Woodlands, Texas. With multiple years of experience, Dr. Ramineni has developed a passion for performing complex peripheral (leg and arm vessels as well as to kidneys), coronary (heart) and carotid interventions. He specializes in primary operating through the arm vessels(radial access) for heart catheterizations. He also performs structural interventions, loop recorder implantations, vein disease evaluation, stenting, and ablations. He strongly believes in a preventive, comprehensive and patient centered approach for cardiovascular management and spends considerable time with each patient for achieving this goal.
Dr. Ramineni earned his medical degree from Guntur Medical College. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Miami campus in West Palm Beach, Florida. He later trained in general cardiology during which he served as chief fellow of cardiology in the final year of his fellowship at the University of Texas medical branch, Galveston. Dr. Ramineni completed his advance training in Interventional Cardiology and Advanced heart failure/Transplant cardiology at Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center in the Houston Methodist Hospital. He was an assistant professor and an academic faculty at Wayne State University, MI, training young Interventional cardiologist in their fellowships before he moved to join the Healing Hearts team. He is elected a Fellow in American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
Dr. Ramineni is certified by the American Board of Internal medicine, General cardiology, Interventional cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology. He is also board certified in the fields of Echocardiography, Nuclear cardiology, and Endovascular medicine. He underwent additional extensive training in the field of advanced heart failure/transplant cardiology as well as peripheral and structural interventions. He is also a registered physician in vascular interpretation. Dr. Ramineni has been extensively published and currently serves as reviewer and associate editor for medical journals.
In his free time, Dr. Ramineni enjoys traveling and hiking with his family, sharing their interest in learning and understanding new cultures. He also loves photography.
Preeti Singh Desai, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist at Healing Hearts Clinic in The Woodlands and Conroe, TX. With a special interest in preventive cardiology and women’s health, Dr. Desai has performed extensive research in the field of cardiology and continues to stay on top of the latest developments in the field. Dr. Desai is one of the few physicians in the area performing 3D/4D echocardiography and guiding left atrial closure device placements.
Dr. Desai earned her medical degree from Rajiv Gandhi University in Bangalore, India, and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the North Shore University-LIJ Hospital in New York. She completed fellowship training in cardiovascular medicine from Texas Tech University. Dr. Desai has also done additional training to specialize in all aspects of Cardiac Imaging at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She currently serves as a medical advisor for Lone Star College in Houston, in addition to practicing cardiology. She is extensively published in peer-reviewed journals and earned various awards and accolades for her work in cardiology.
Dr. Desai’s clinical interest focus on coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, A fib, valvular and structural heart disease, vein disease, with a particular emphasis on women’s health, and preventive cardiology. She performs procedures such as nuclear stress testing, 3D/4D echocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds, cardiac CT & MRI, vein ablations, and transesophageal echcardiograms and cardioversions. Dr. Desai believes in preventing heart attacks by diagnosing early plaque build up, using state of the art technology. She strives to provide her patients with education and understanding of their heart conditions to help them achieve their goals; thus, empowering them to take control of their health.
