Hello. We are open for business. We are asking all clients to make an online account on our website and to book online to help keep our phone line clear for clients calling in when they arrive at the clinic. We have all new paperwork that must be filled out before coming in for your first visit since we were shutdown. You must have a mask on coming into the office. We are asking anyone who has been traveling to the states with high Covid numbers not to come in for 14 days. This is out of respect for all of the businesses that operate inside of HMR. We have had some changes since opening and we will be having some changes in the near future to staff and staff hours. If you do not see your therapist on the list they are no longer working at HMR. Things will be shifting around in the next couple of months due to our mandates and therapists having children. Please be patient with us as we navigate these really uncertain times.

As we all know Monroe County has now gone to a yellow zone. Once we hit Orange HMR will be forced to close once again. We have no idea how long this will be or if this is going to hit us multiple times as the year comes to an end and going into next year. Please everyone be patient with us as we move forward.

Edited* I was just told that we will be allowed to do medically necessary massages during lockdowns. We will be asking all clients who come here for medically necessary massages to contact your doctors and see if they can write you a prescription for massage. Without a prescription we will not be able to work on you during lock downs.

Healing Massage Retreat is in search of two therapists to start in April/May time. We are remodeling two rooms that are 11 1/2’* 10’. They are getting new flooring, and new paint and wallpaper in the next month. And the clinic flooring is being updated to stone tiling in March so we want all construction done before we start renting out. One room has a 4 bar ashiatsu system built into the ceiling.
Rooms come fully stocked with massage tables, hot towel cabbies, hot stones and stone cookers, sheets, towels. The clinic supplies laundry, appointment books, internet/wifi, clinic wide advertising, business cards, paperwork, phone, bathroom. You’ll need to supply your oils, your hands, and your own personal advertising.
This is a great place to try your hand at owning your own business with a little help behind you. We have a lot of people signing up on our appointment books everyday looking to get in. We are a place that people are looking for an appointment on the day so if you want to build a good practice you’ll want to be available for same day appointments.
Both rooms are $500/month a piece, or you can share with a friend and it’s $600/month. I’m even willing to work with 3 friends for $700/month. You’ll be having to work out your hours between each other. You will be signing a 1 year contract. The Rooms are available 7 days a week.
We are open for any type of practitioner looking for a room. We have 5 Massage Therapists, an Esthetician, and a Cosmetologist who rent out rooms at the moment. We’ve had Chiropractic, Nutritionist, Acupuncture. We are open to Counselors and other wellness type professions.
We are located in a prime location and easy to get to. We are literally off of the 390 exit on West Ridge Road or Ridgeway 390 Exit, tucked into a quite Office Park with plenty of parking. We are within 10-20 minute drive from Webster, Penifield, Pittsford, Gates, Irondequoit, Spencerport, Brockport, Hilton, Rochester, all of Greece is a few minutes drive all the way around.
