Dr. Lyndon Taylor is highly experienced in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with professional interests in urogynecology and infertility, and offers a wide array of gynecological services for his patients at Healthcare for Women. Dr. Taylor has treated many women in the greater Chicago area.
After medical school, Dr. Taylor completed a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Taylor is board-certified and has more than 30 years of experience practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Taylor served as the President and CEO of Healthcare For Women, with the first OB/GYN office-based surgical facility opening in 1991 in Illinois. Healthcare For Women was also accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC). At the present time, Dr. Taylor is a COEMIG designated surgeon at Westlake Hospital, which is one of the first hospitals in Illinois to receive the Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology designation. In 2011, Dr. Taylor had the privilege to be a part of the People to People Citizen Ambassador Program’s John J. Sciarra, M.D. PhD delegation to Tibet and China. This was a rare occasion to meet with medical providers from 8 hospitals across China that provided a cross-cultural exchange of medical information in the aspects of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Infertility between our countries.
At Healthcare For Women, Dr. Taylor offers everything from routine birth control and pap smears to advanced treatment for fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, infertility treatments, and treatment of urinary incontinence. He also offers PCOS assessment, STD testing, prenatal care, and hormone replacement treatments.
Dr. Taylor has served the Chicago community since 1983 and gladly continues to help women in the city and neighboring areas.
