In these unprecedented times, the safety of our dancers, choreographers, volunteers, attendees, clients and staff is our top priority at Healthy Seniors of Steele County. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic, including guidelines from public health experts regarding events and activities.
Due to the Stay at home order by Governor Walz, we were unable to hold Dancing with Our Steele County Stars on the scheduled April 25 date. We have rescheduled Dancing with Our Steele County Stars on Saturday, October 24th, 2020.
Sponsorships and ticket purchases will be applied to Dancing with Our Steele County Stars couples fundraising as they would have with the April 25 event. In order to reduce ticket confusion and duplication we will use the same tickets the only difference is the date which will now be October 24th.
Healthy Seniors of Steele County will be monitoring restrictions as Minnesota slowly moves back toward reopening.
We are currently in the process of rescheduling Dancing with Our Steele County Stars. More details to come once a new date has been determined.

Tickets are $30 each.

Also we are pleased to announce the date for our twelfth annual golf tournament on July 14, 2020; at the Owatonna Country Club. More information on the golf tournament coming in the future.
Healthy Seniors of Steele County is so grateful for our volunteers. At our Appreciation Gala this week, we had the chance to recognize some of the dedicated people who give selflessly of their time and talent. Thank you for putting your love in motion and helping us honor our mission of keeping seniors safely living well at home. A BIG thank you also to the Owatonna Country Club for making this event possible and offering outstanding service and delicious food! And, of course, our entertainment cannot go unrecognized…local musical talents Marty Spikers won the hearts of our guests by signing and impersonating some favorite songs and artists! They were fantastic and fun!!

Healthy Seniors of Steele County has a part time Health & Wellness Coordinator position opening. Responsibilities will include conducting individual needs assessments, coordinating & providing direct services including respite, Healthy Partners – a combination of Fall prevention education, home safety assessment, light chore & strength & balance exercise, medical escort etc., friendly visiting, case management to seniors in need living independently in their home that do not have a support system to help them to safely live well at home. Service & Support Coordinator
Healthy Seniors of Steele County has a part time Service & Support Coordinator position opening. Responsibilities will include: conducting needs assessment & working with seniors individual needs and supporting caregivers by providing direct services including respite, light chore, friendly visiting, case management, etc., to seniors that do not have a support system to help them to safely live well at home.
