🎉 Happy 25 year work anniversary to our longest employee! John is a hard working, loyal, dependable part of our practice. He has become like family over the years. He exudes kindness as he serves our patients and his coworkers. All of us here at Healy Dental are so grateful for his example & friendship! Congratulations John! @i_do_what_i_want_cosplay! 🎉
Throw back Thursday, and we’re throwing it way back!! We know some of you have been coming to the office for this long too, which is the best part!
Dr. Healy opened his practice in May of 1994, and John joined him as our hygienist in July of 1995. The two of them have enjoyed working together the last 25 years and have built a wonderful friendship together, and with our patients throughout the years!
We will forever be grateful to the men and women who are fighting, have fought, died fighting, and will one day be fighting for our freedoms. As well as for the families who have so graciously awaited the return of their brave soldiers. We don’t know you all, but we owe you all. Thank you. 🇺🇸
We may be a little bit biased, but this was one of our cutest patients of the week! Did you know that we see children starting at the age of 3?
Some tips on starting good hygiene skills early-
📌 let them choose their toothbrush. Just make sure it is an appropriate size for their mouth.
📌 make brushing fun in the morning and night. Let them do it, then try telling them you still see a fast tooth bug running around and you need to get it. Chase the bug with the brush as you double check their brushing. This helps to teach them the areas they need to get in a silly way.
📌 make sure they spit and rinse when they’re done brushing.
📌 do not let your child go to bed with a bottle or sippy. Milk on their teeth at night is bad for their teeth, even though milk is good for your body. It still has sugar in it, and will cause cavities.
📌 bring them in twice a year for a dental cleaning and exam. They love to watch a movie on the computer, and getting prizes from our prize tower!
We’re wrapping up our first week back to work! We’ve made the best out of all the new requirements... and had a little fun with them too! Thanks to our awesome patients for going with the new flow as we all adjust! Enjoy the rest of your week!
