The Hearing Institute can determine whether you are a candidate to try a Lyric hearing aid, called the "contact lens for the ear". This hearing aid is completely invisible, requires no battery changes, and is removed and replaced by the Audiologist every several months.

Dr. Robert Gebhart has retired this month from Desert ENT. We thank him for his extraordinary service, leadership and dedication to the Desert Community for over 41 years. Dr. Gebhart has touched thousands of patient's lives over his career. We wish him much happiness in his well deserved retirement!

Wade Zarella first joined the Hearing Institute in 1995 as Director of Audiology. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Audiology from San Jose State University and a Doctor of Audiology degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences. We are so lucky to work with such a fabulous Audiologist for almost the past 20 years!
