We at Heart of Texas Physical Therapy would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Central Texas! Without you, we would not have been able to weather the last 6 months! The extreme challenges and uncertainty that COVID 19 posed forced difficult decisions to be made early on. We could not simply abandon the needs of our community when they needed us most, so we completely changed our safety protocols in order to continue to provide the care that our patient’s needed in a safe environment. We have since brought additional clinicians and staff onto the team in an effort to provide employment in a job-strapped market and to meet the substantial increase in the amount of people who need help regaining and improving their health. HOT PT continues to be sustained even now because of the love and support of God and our community. Please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here when you need us.
Our Board Certified Occupational Therapist implements advanced techniques for your specific condition to help you regain function.
At HOT PT, our highest priorities are to help our patients overcome challenges and restore them to a healthy lifestyle.
Have you experienced dizziness or vertigo? Train with our Certified Vestibular Therapist to restore your ability to live a happy and healthy life.
We are open! Our team has continued to take proactive measures to ensure and healthy and safe environment for our employees and patients. Call us at 254-301-7374 or fill out our form to request an appointment at https://www.hotpt.org/new-patients.
We will be closed today, September 11, in remembrance of the lives lost.
At HOT PT, we focus on patient-centered care which is why you are only scheduled ONE-ON-ONE with your therapist for 60-minute appointments.
Hey! HOT PT is needing some help with our waiting room and we would love our community to be a part of it! We are going to create a very large word cloud to go on the waiting room wall. We need the community to provide word suggestions to go in the word cloud. Words that are associated with physical therapy, fitness, health, and wellness. Serious responses please. Let’s keep it clean and professional. After one week we will pull as many words as we can and start the process of making the word cloud. #waco #wacotx #wacotown #aroundtheworldwaco #wacotexas #wacowise #wacohappenings #wacoweekend #wacofit #fitwaco #wacofitness #wacofitnessclass

Definitely. How about post quarantine deconditioning? So many of our patients are experiencing significant regression from drastic changes in activity levels related to staying home. For many people, especially our senior population, day to day activities are the “exercise” that is keeping them healthy. Reduce this activity level and you will negatively affect your health. This change warrants intervention by a Physical Therapist to regain your strength and mobility. CHOOSEPT.COM What Is Post-Intensive Care Syndrome? A Physical Therapist’s Perspective
HOT PT will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and will have limited hours this week. We will take the opportunity to fully clean the facility and revitalize with some much needed R and R.
