HUGE shoutout to whomever gifted us this beautiful cat and left her in a carrier in our driveway Saturday afternoon! It would have been so nice if you left a note so we could know her age, medical history, or at least just her name! We will give you points for leaving her in a carrier so she didn’t get hit by a car, but that’s about all we can say in your favor. We will be getting this sweetheart the medical attention she needs. You must not have seen that you left your name on the bottom of the carrier, written on a piece of tape. But I’ll keep that our little secret. (For now).
Today’s adoptable cat is....DUTCH. Dutch is a 4 year old giant cuddle bug. He LOVES attention, he’s kind of a ham for it. Dutch has been with us his entire life, his brother was recently adopted so it’s time for this big baby to find his own forever home. Mr. Dutch does great with dogs, but should probably be an only cat as he tends to get very bossy with other cats. He would love a lap to sit on for many many years to come, please let us know if you’d like to come meet the boy with these stunning markings ❤️🐾😺
Cats don’t get enough credit. And they’re often very misunderstood. I’ve heard so many people say they’re just not cat people - is it possible you just haven’t met the right cat yet? There are cats for every personality, just like dogs. But we are so used to the immediate affection of a dog, that we often don’t give cats the chance they need to warm up and show us their real personality. Cats take their own time in a new home to decompress and warm up, they’re creatures of habit, so changes in that habit can be overwhelming at first.
This is Gouda. He’s a year old white and orange tabby with one of the sweetest personalities you’ve ever met. But when people come into the room to meet him, he can come across shy, but given the proper amount of time, this guy just melts your heart. He loves laps and pets and loves to cuddle. He’s an affectionate guy given the chance, but people continue to overlook him. Please help us find this gorgeous boy his forever home!
We will be featuring our adoptable cats on this page all week! Please let us know if you have any questions!
Well it has been an interesting year so far hasn’t it? We are officially back up and running, we have been for a few weeks now but we wanted to get our feet under us again before we made it official!
We are THRILLED to be back. Y’all have no idea. We have missed you guys like crazy!
Our grooming is booking out 2-3 weeks, but boarding is not booked for any time yet!
We also have several cats up for adoption at this time!
Please let us know if you need anything! We can’t wait to see you all soon!
Attention customers:
Due to the mandatory Stay At Home order issued today, we have no choice but to close down. Unfortunately, we are not considered an essential business. We will be closed 3/24-4/6. Hopefully they are able to lift the order at that time, if the order is extended however, so will our shutdown.
All grooming appointments and boarding reservations will be cancelled during that time. We will not be rescheduling grooming appointments until the order is lifted.
It truly devastates us to have to close down but we have no choice. We are blessed by your patronage and we can’t wait to see you all again as soon as we are able.
You will still be able to contact us through Facebook and email.
Stay healthy and hug your pets!
With the longest year ever coming to a close we all have a lot on our minds. There were a lot of negatives about this year (obviously) but we are choosing to ignore those. We would like to start 2021 off looking at things as positive as possible and our biggest positive is Heartland and the family we have created.
We could not have survived this year without the loyalty of our customers. We are so incredibly grateful for all of you. You guys make our dream reality on a daily basis. Thank you for being part of our dysfunctional family, for sharing your lives with us, and for sharing your fur-kids with us, they are the best part of our day.
Thank you for everything in 2020 and we can’t wait to see you all again in 2021.
Have a safe and happy New Year!
