Heather Brooke Anthony was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. She attended Wofford College in Spartanburg, and graduated magna cum laude with a biology degree in 2002. After that, she attended the physician's assistant program at MUSC here in Charleston and graduated in 2004. She worked for Doctor's Care and Palmetto Primary Care Physicians, doing urgent care and family medicine, before joining MUSC.
In addition to clinical interests, she is certified to perform and submit DOT certification exams.
