Meet our Maintenance Director Tony Rivera!
There is not doubt that when you walk the hallways at Heather Heights you will hear Tony being paged more than any other employee. Tony is coming up on 11 years with our community and he is a jack of all trades. He can fix anything from a leaky faucet to an air conditioning unit and always does it with a smile.
Tony is the proud father of 5 adult children, 1 in Atlanta, 2 in Buffalo and 2 in the Rochester area. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his dog Milo and riding his motorcycle.
"Making the resident's happy" is what Tony loves most about his job. "I just like to make them smile, that's what its all about."
Thank you Tony for your service to our community for the last 11 years and here's to many more!!
Our recreation aide Noah graduated from high school last month and today we celebrated with a graduation party happy hour!
We served some snacks, mac n' cheese bites, white whine spritzers, ginger ale, coke and the residents even wrote out "words of wisdom" for Noah.

Meet Sheri Coe!!
Sheri is the full time PCA and MedTech during the day shift on our green neighborhood. She has been with Heather Heights for 15 years this July and she has spent over 14 of them on the memory care unit!!
Sheri has 8 brothers and sisters and loves being part of such a big family which is what drew her to Heather Heights. She loves sunshine, country music and of course her dog Mitzy.
When I asked Sheri what she loves most about her job she simply replied, "I love everything about my job!! This place is like my second family, but if i have to pick just one thing, I love to make my residents laugh!"

Cooking class was a huge success last month! Our residents diced up a few different kinds of salsa for our "Fiesta" themed happy hour last week.
Thanksgiving should be a time to come together as a family and have a meal together. We want to help a family in need celebrate the holiday this year by providing a thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings.
If you know of a family in the area that might be experiencing some hardships this holiday season, we want to help.

Our staff has the option to participate in jeans day every Friday. Any employee at Heather Heights that would like to dress down on Friday is able to pay $2 to our receptionist.
After 3 months of collecting, we let our November Employee of the Month, Sheri Coe, choose a charity for donation.

Yesterday we celebrated Groundhog Day only to find out Phil is giving us 6 more weeks of winter 🥶
We kicked off our can food drive this week. The neighborhood that collects the most canned goods will win a pizza day!
