Heather Zuk is an occupational therapist at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She specializes in treating patients with ALS, brain injury, concussion, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Muscular Dystrophy (MD), neurologic movement disorders, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury and stroke, using assistive technology. She also evaluates and works with patients with age related changes such as mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s Disease.
Heather believes in helping people reach their highest potential and level of independence possible. Her goal is to help people with all types of diagnoses and medical challenges by evaluating their strengths and areas of difficulty to help them with the ultimate goal of getting back to driving or learning to drive. She provides objective and thorough assessments and training if possible, to help people achieve their goal of returning to driving if it is safe.
