Sometimes it's all about what is seen vs. hidden in the walls. This valve & pipe was replaced this week by our technician Justin and as you can see the pipe that was buried in the wall was just about ready to blow, even though you wouldn't know it by what you see in just the first picture. This is the very reason we never leave these old valves in place when changing a faucet or fixture, because they are a time bomb waiting to happen. Here is a great example of a corroded copper water pipe just waiting to blow apart, from our friends at Morgan Miller Plumbing. It seems the only thing holding this section of pipe together was the deposit build-up itself! 😳

Our plumbers happen upon some risky things. Gage brought this section of water pipe in for "show and tell". Can you imagine the damage this would have caused had the water piping corroded just a bit more?
If you notice something similar, let's replace it immediately. The cost of replacing is significantly less than the damage it will cause. #corrosionexplosion 😮

Our plumber Zach ran into an octopus yesterday under a customers kitchen sink. 😲 Fortunately he was able to free the beast and properly run some new drain lines! Pro tip...those flexible drain lines the home centers sell lead to non-stop drain issues. Great job, Zach!
