After having completed her Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Dr. Pyon graduated from the New York University’s College of Dentistry. In her final year there, Dr. Pyon spent her elective hours treating a special population of refugees who sought political asylum in New York City. These patients were cared for with compassionate professionalism which helped them with their fears of the dentist. After completing her residency with an emphasis on urgent and emergency dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center, Dr. Pyon worked to treat the needy in Brooklyn, before joining a private practice in Manhattan. She is a current member of the American Dental Association, the New York County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She regularly attends study clubs as well as continuing education courses to ensure that her dental knowledge is current and up-to- date.
