Dr. Gollogly specializes in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, and glaucoma. Originally from Europe, Dr. Gollogly immigrated to the United States when she was in high school. Once in the US, Dr. Gollogly completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University in Religious Studies and then medical school in Valhalla, New York at New York Medical College, where she graduated with honors.
Dr. Gollogly completed an Internal Medicine internship for Georgetown University at the Washington Hospital Center and her Ophthalmology residency at Mayo Clinic, one of the most prestigious programs in the country. Following this, Dr. Gollogly spent a year in Cambodia where she taught Khmer physicians ophthalmic practices and also provided eye care to disadvantaged Cambodians. She practiced in Northern California prior to joining Acuity Eye Specialists as a comprehensive ophthalmologist and medical retina specialist.
Dr. Gollogly research interests focus on retinal disease including diabetic retinopathy. She also has a passion for volunteerism having provided eye care in India through Unite for Sight and Student Sight Savers Program in the United States. Her passion for helping those disadvantaged extends to her compassionate nature and bedside manner.
