My rescued pug, Donner Reindeer, had not been feeling good and when I called to schedule an appointment Dr. Abbey Burgess was booked until next Tuesday. However, Erin, asked me to hold while she checked with Dr. Burgess and came back to the phone and asked if I would be willing to drop him off and Dr. Burgess would examine him and call me.
Absolutely! Dr. Burgess called me 3 times; gathering information, providing updates on diagnostics and making a treatment plan. When I picked him up 2 Vet techs brought him to me and showed me how to give him eye drops and reviewed the treatment plan with me. This morning Dr. Burgess personally called to check on Donner Reindeer and I was relieved to report he is much better! The care received is kind, loving and very detailed.

Why do we do dental X-rays? For example in this photo, the dental X-ray shows a broken tooth underneath the gums. We can’t see these broken fragments underneath the gum line when we evaluate but we can generally know the dental stages based on an oral examination. Our pets can’t tell us if they are in pain either.
Dental x-rays help us decide when to extract and what technique to use. If we had just done the cleaning on the outside, this dog would have continual pain and lead to more problems.
Call us for my information and find out how you can save on your next pet’s dental cleaning with our wellness plans or special promotions. 🦷

As we all have anticipated the closing of 2020, we want to show our gratitude and appreciation to our clients. We know this year has not been easy, and as we move into a new (and hopefully better) year, we wish you moments of peace amid the difficulties, connections with family and friends even if they can’t be in person, the warmth of memories from holidays past, and wonderful glimpses of the joy that still lives under the surface.
