Tuesday - Saturday: 10a-5p
Monday: by appointment only (NO walk-ins)
Sunday: closed as usual.

Is September over yet? Its just one thing after another isn’t it this year? This is not an upbeat post. But if you’ve noticed a change in my demeanor (or do in this coming week) this is why. Among other things.
September; It’s always a tough month for me as it’s my sisters birthday month. My sister was a huge animal lover, as am I. When she passed six years ago I took in her two cats Puppy and Franklin. Yes, my sister in her total personality thought it would be fun to name a kitten ‘Puppy’. He lived up to the name. Met you at the door. Stood up and put his paws on your leg to pet him. And if you ever stopped petting him he would literally paw at your hand/wrist.
A few weeks ago (the day I closed for the day last minute) we had gotten a stomach cancer diagnosis on him early that morning. Terminal. We elected for palliative care given his age. We spoiled him rotten the past few weeks, the past few days he began to decline, then last night he took a serious turn for the worse. Today we made the decision to humanly put him down. It was time. I’m sure my sister met him at the gates and he’s curled up on her lap right now. Take good care of him up there sis, I did what I could down here. ❤️
RIP Puppy. (2004-2020)
