The next few weeks are going to be HOT and humid! Make sure your furry friends are staying cool! Keep outside time to a minimum, watch for hot pavement if they are out there, and make sure they have plenty of access to water and a cool space.

Dr. Hartman treated us all to a some special treatment for our hands and some masks to wear. Keeping everyone safe includes lots of hand washing and sanitizing which results in VERY dry hands! We are very grateful!! Thanks Dr. Hartman!!

We hope you are all staying home, staying safe, and staying healthy! If you haven't already been to Heritage in the past week, we are doing Curbside Veterinary Care. During the "Shelter In Place" ordered, we will be seeing sick pets and will not be grooming dogs. If you have any questions, need medications filled, or aren't sure if your pet needs to be seen, we are open normal hours and we would love to hear from you!

We do ask that if your pet needs care but you or a family member are experiencing any signs of illness or if you have recently had exposure by traveling within the past 14 days please call the office so that we can make a plan to help you get the care that your pet needs. Please know that we are taking all of the recommended precautions here at the office to keep our staff, clients, and patients healthy. At this time, pets are not considered to be carriers of COVID-19 and are not at risk of contracting the disease, however if you are sick, it is still a good idea to limit contact with your pet.
