Dr. Anh P. Dang-Vu founded Herndon Dermatology to offer dermatologic solutions for patients of all ages, with two offices in Herndon and Falls Church, Virginia. Through both surgical and non-surgical treatments, Dr. Dang-Vu and her team of skilled medical experts treat an array of conditions, including acne, eczema, skin cancer, and psoriasis.
Herndon Dermatology also offers cosmetic procedures such as Botox®, Juvéderm®, intense pulsed light therapy, laser hair removal, laser spider vein removal and sclerotherapy, microdermabrasion, and non-surgical body contouring. Dr. Dang-Vu is a board-certified dermatologist with over two decades of experience in private practice. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and consistently stays up-to-date with the latest technological innovations in her field. Her special interests also include skin cancer treatment and surgery, as well as various skin diseases in children.
Dr. Dang-Vu graduated from the Hershey High School in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and went on to attend Bryn Mawr College, where she received multiple awards.
Dr. Dang-Vu obtained her medical degree from Duke University — considered one of the top 10 medical schools in the country — which is a private research university in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Dang-Vu then completed her internship in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
Upon completion of her internship, she returned to Pennsylvania to train in dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania — ranked the best academic dermatology program in the nation by the Dermatology Online Journal — and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she served as the Chief Resident in her last year of training.
