Thank you to the dedicated volunteers with the New Hanover Volunteer Fire & Rescue Services who gave their time to control and extinguish our mulch and brush fire. Thank you also to the volunteers with Limerick Fire Department, Gilbertsville Fire & Rescue Co., and Upper Frederick Fire Company for providing support with your tankers, and Ringing Hill Fire Company for supporting the effort with lights and your tanker. Thank you to New Hanover Township and to our friends, Lance of Marschner Excavating, Inc. and Ray of Advanced Color and Grind, LLC for bringing your heavy equipment and spending hours moving product to assist the firefighters and contain the spread. Of course, thank you to the New Hanover Township Police Department. All of you are valuable assets to our community as you so willingly sacrifice time with family and friends to help a neighbor. We greatly appreciate you and your families for supporting you.

while I was out today he ran right by me. Trap and camera are set! Please continue to call in sightings so we know what locations he is in in case he does not come back to the trap. Please do not attempt to get him or follow him. Food has been left at the trap and hopefully he will find it shortly.
If you have access to security cameras/ring doorbell‘s please put food outside for this sweet boy. Knowing that another animal could eat the food we need the food placed in an area where there is a camera so we know what’s eating the food! He is in desperate need of eating and we need to be able to keep him in this area in order to set a trap.

I am a search and rescue volunteer helping the family find their newly adopted dog!
Newly adopted dog who is terrified of people, slipped his collar before he even got in his house. He does not know where he lives and has been on the move since yesterday. He is running when approached. If you see him do not yell out and do not chase. Get low to the ground and let him come to you. He loves hotdogs that may be the key to getting him safely.
If you are a resident in the area circled can you please keep an eye on any security cameras that you have to see if he is coming to your property. If you know of someone that feeds deer or feral cats please let me know we’re contact the owner because he could be coming there for food. 
With more snow on the way he could become very disoriented. We know he has gone up Swamp Pike and also crossed Ridge Pike this is an extremely dangerous area and we need to keep him safe. Again please do not chase or call to him. We are asking people to please contact the owner right away and let her know where you saw him, what time of day/night and which direction he is going.
It takes a village!!!
Sharing again since we have so many friends in the neighborhoods where he’s been spotted.

As I wind down for the night this poor sweet dog, Rick, will be out for 14 days tomorrow.  He still isn’t staying in any one spot which is making his life so much more difficult! We are doing everything in our power to bring this boy home safely. However, when he won’t stay still for more than 24 hours it’s very difficult to know where he’s at to get him eating and then trapped. Just putting out this reminder again if you know of anyone in the area that you can talk to that has cameras or even a trail camera that they can sit outside of their house with food it would be much appreciated! !! Praying for this sweet boy and all the others lost in this terrible weather.
